TMS To Syndicate Articles From Foreign AffairsChicago, IL, June 5, 2006 MTribune Media Services (TMS), the content-licensing unit of Tribune Company, today announced plans to syndicate essays, news analyses and opinion columns from Foreign Affairs magazine. Newspapers in the United States and abroad that subscribe to the Foreign Affairs service will be able to publish commentaries and other content from the magazine and its companion website. The service also will feature a column by James F. Hoge, Jr., editor of the magazine since 1992. The preeminent journal in its field, Foreign Affairs is issued six times a year by the Council on Foreign Relations, a not-for-profit and nonpartisan membership and research organization based in New York City. "The need for thoughtful commentary on international relations and foreign policy has never been greater," said David D. Williams, president and CEO of TMS. "The world is shrinking, and TMS is pleased to offer newspapers in the United States and abroad access to the views of the top opinion leaders shaping the debate about the most important global issues." Foreign Affairswill be introduced to international newspapers at the World Association of Newspapers' Info Services Expo, June 4-7, TMS booth #44.
